The best lawyer

Undoubtedly the best lawyer is Nicole Nehme. She is 35 years and a brilliant career.
I think that is a very inteligent woman – one of the best graduates for many years in the university of Chile-, she never had a bad note and always was the best of her class.
He graduated in 1995 with an average 6.87. And received a prize for the best memory of degree.

In her professional life, with her husband, Rodrigo Ferrada, founded the study ferradanehme in 2001.

She is expert on regulated markets and free competition and the case most important in her career was the collusion of pharmacies.

I think she's a very talented woman that makes things the best way and I admire her perseverance.

Undoubtedly the best.

beautiful photograph, beautiful memories

My favorite photograph was taken by me in the last summer when I traveled to Cuncumén to do volunteer work.
For me is a very important photograph because this sumarizes all that I lived in that place for eleven days. Cuncumén is a small town localized to the west of Salamanca in the Coquimbo’s region.
One of my best experience in my life was lived in Cuncumén, I meet a lot of friendly, nice and valuable people – with them my boyfriend-, and also met a lot of childrens. I shared a lot of time playing, laughing and doing many things with them.

The photograph show an artificial lake wich is used for irrigate crops. In the photograph you can see a springboard that is there because in the summer the childrens can go to swim.
I love Cuncumén because is a very peaceful place and the people who live there is lovely

My Career

The first reason why I’m studying law is because I believe in justice, and felt the call to become engaged in building a more just society.
I think that in order to change things we must start by us –Yes, I am a very idealistic person –.
The way that I want to contribute to society is very special; I’ve noticed that justice sometimes does not come equally to us all. Poor people can not always have access to a good lawyer. I want to be lawyer that is able to solve their conflicts.

The tools that I will need to do my job are mainly legal knowledge, and I need to read a lot of jurisprudence to be able to anticipate the judge’s decision.

Finally my favorite subject is “indigenous law”, and I think that I am the right person to work in this area.

My favorite career-related website

In my career –like others- is very important have quick access to important news. We must read newspapers every day, because at every moment there are important legal news and we must be informed.
I have two favorite websites.
The first is an electronic virtual library that has a selected collection of Chilean scientific journals that I found when I needed an article about therapeutic abortion.
The second is the official website of “Colegio de abogados” and it is interesting because you can find legal news, jurisprudence articles and links to visit “ministerio publico”, “tribunal constitucional”, etc.

I recommend these sites to all law students. You will find very interesting items, you will not regret it.

my most prized piece of technology

I think that my favorite piece of technology it’s cell phone

It’s the greatest idea that the inventor has had in his life.

I was born in Rancagua; I live far from my house that’s why the cell phone is very important in my life. (I only take 5 seconds to call my family).

Really my cell phone is very basic, I can only make phone calls, send text messages, use to play “snake”. Is really funny but is like my mom. Every morning i wake up with his alarm. And I use every moment every day.

Finally although there are no tools to use I think that is my most prized piece of technology.
